First impressions
This is what you would class as a basic no frills washing machine for your money- not with all of the gadget modes but with 15 wash cycles to choose from and a very good 1200 spin this would be all you would need for a not so heavy daily wash load and usage.

The Bush WMDF612W washing machine may on the surface only be a basic model but it does contain most of the main programmes and features of some of the more expensive washing machine models. This machine has a very handy automatic half load to ensure minimum water wastage. You then have control over the temperature and spin speeds and an absolutely brilliant 15 minute quick wash.
There is a pre-wash option for your really dirty items such as work overalls, a synthetics mixed load to wash most everyday clothes, a handwash cycle for your special items and a silks option for your most delicate pieces. The sports cycle is spot on for those terrible to wash gym kits and for the squad shirts that have to be in pristine condition for the line-up!
Your woollens cycle is not forgotten for a gentle wash to protect fibres and a separate cycle for your delicates as these can be very expensive items if they have to be replaced. The cotton programmes choice of 60 degrees or 40degrees ensures that the cotton wash matches the manufacturers instructions and therefore helps to avoid damaging the clothes.
The top of the pile must-have cycle is the shirts cycle for the best possible care and wash of your everyday work shirts or your favourite ‘going out’ shirts.
The intensive cycle not only generally gives a good clean finish but you also have an option of a deep clean wash to ensure a thorough clean through to eliminate as much dirt, bacteria and stains as possible in your wash.
Last but not least is the splendid Eco 20 degree wash, a good wash which is friendly on the environment using less energy and water.
Worth a mention is the very handy table of programmes selector in the manual that is with the machine so you know what programmes to choose and select for your wash load and don’t worry if you have accidentally chosen the incorrect programme, just switch the dial to CANCEL, switch programme dial to any programme to disperse any water then select the new programme.
How noisy is the Bush WMDF612W washing machine?
This machine has been given a 58 dB reading which is a very good score on the noise level indicator with a spinning performance rating of B which is not a bad score considering the price of the machine.
This is a quietly running machine which is probably because it only has a spin speed of 1200 rpm which is adequate for most use.
A solid machine that doesn’t ‘dance’ around the room when spinning and easy to install.
