First impressions
After opening the box, my first thought was- this hairdryer is lush! The rose pearl colour is really eye-catching and completely different to anything I’ve had before. It definitely makes the hair dryer seem a lot more high-end than the price tag suggests.
The concentrator nozzle is really slim which is always what I look for, as when they have been wider before, it just doesn’t heat and control the part of the hair I am looking to style very well. The diffuser connection is pretty standard and definitely did the job when I was trying to create some waves in my hair. The settings and speeds are easy enough to use and does the job, allowing me to have complete control on my styling.
Another thing I clocked on first use was the cord length-, which is 3 metres. Sounds stupid, but it’s really long and means there’s no stretching needed for me to see what I’m doing in the mirror (which is normally what I have to do with my other products!).
Trying out the Remington Rose Pearl Hairdryer
After reserving and collecting straight away at Argos, I was eager to get the hairdryer home and test it out!
There are 3 buttons on the dryer- speed (2 settings), temperature (4 settings) and a cool shot (hold down button). This obviously means you have control over how hot you want the air and how much power you need to get your desired style.
I started with the coolest heat setting then built it up to the second, and also tested out the two speeds. I found the highest heat setting was quite hot so decided to change back down to the second setting. Even though the motor/speed settings were very powerful, the hairdryer is really quiet-, which is unlike other makes that I have used previously.
The different hairdryer settings are great- I have really thick hair so sometimes if i’m in a hurry, will use the highest temperature and the most powerful setting to get it dry quickly. But when I have more time I often lower the settings and use the concentrator nozzle and style my hair like I want to. This hairdryer fits into my lifestyle very nicely!

Variable temperature: As I’ve already mentioned, this is a great feature, you can change the temperature for your desired style. This is also good to change if you are using the diffuser and trying to create curls/waves. The cool shot is also good to set your style!
Light: Some of my hairdryers in the past have been quite heavy, especially with additional connecters, but this is only 0.62kg- light and easy to manoeuvre when styling.
Protects your hair: We know heat and hair don’t always mix well, but this hair dryer has ionic conditioning to keep hair healthy and frizz-free.
